2026 BYSA Book Award Scholarship recipients Grace Williams and Aidan Gates
Grace Williams
Clemson University — Fall 2026

Grace has been a leader on and off the pitch throughout her time with BYSA. Her commitment to community — from organizing youth clinics to supporting athletes with disabilities — is a shining example of good citizenship.

  • 6+ years as a BYSA player
  • Co-organizer of the Summer BHS Girls Soccer Clinic
  • Volunteer with North Shore Rovers (soccer for athletes with intellectual & physical disabilities)
  • Beverly High School Soccer Captain
Aidan Gates

Aidan embodies what BYSA hopes every player takes with them off the field. Over more than a decade with our organization, he gave back at every turn — as a player, an official, and a volunteer administrator.

  • 10+ years as a BYSA player
  • Certified BYSA referee for 3 years
  • Volunteered with BYSA Equipment & Ref Coordinator programs

Each year, the Beverly Youth Soccer Association proudly recognizes graduating seniors through our annual Book Award Scholarship. This one-time award is open to all boys and girls who were actively involved in BYSA — whether they're heading to a traditional four-year college, a community college, or a vocational trade program. Everyone who grew up playing for Beverly deserves to be recognized.
