TOPSoccer - Beverly Youth Soccer Association
TOPSoccer, short for The Outreach Program for Soccer, is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. It is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl who has a mental, emotional or physical disability. The main goal is to help these young athletes become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.
TOPSoccer is designed specifically for children who have physical, emotional or intellectual disabilities. The program strives to foster a love of soccer and encourages the qualities of teamwork, confidence, and fitness among its participants. TOPSoccer is open to any child or young adult with a disability that limits their ability to perform at the level of play they have chosen.
Beverly Youth Soccer Association is excited to bring the TOPSoccer program to the Beverly, MA community and surrounding areas. We believe in creating an inclusive and encouraging environment for all aspiring athletes. This program is a testament to our commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the chance to enjoy the beautiful game of soccer.

TOPSoccer Roles
Players
Anyone can join us for TOPSoccer. Regardless of your child's disability, they are welcome and encouraged to participate. We're hosting our inaugural season at Beverly Middle School on the turf - which is wheelchair and assistive device friendly. Even if you think your child might struggle in a sports or team environment - give it a shot! You'll very likely be surprised. EVERYONE can play, and the friendships and team environments alone make TOPSoccer the best hour of the week for just about everyone involved. We invite any Players from Beverly or surrounding communities to join us for eight weeks of fun and friendship!
Buddies
Buddies are players from Beverly Youth Soccer Association, Beverly High School, or from surrounding communities, typically grades 7-12, who will pair up with a player for an entire season, and accompany them 1 on 1 throughout the TOPSoccer session activities. The only thing we ask of Buddies is that they be able to attend the vast majority of sessions - Buddies will typically stay with Players for the entire season, and for a lot of Players, the time spent with their TOPSoccer Buddy is a significant motivating factor in their participation.
